Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Geology, Geophysics, or related Earth Science discipline.
• 10+ years in oil & gas exploration geology, with focus on prospect generation.
• Expertise in subsurface data integration and interpretation (seismic, well logs, core, geochemical).
• Proficiency with geological modeling and exploration software (Petrel, Kingdom, ArcGIS).
• Strong understanding of basin analysis, plate tectonics, and petroleum systems.
• Experience with remote sensing data analysis for geological applications is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects remotely.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Must have reliable internet connectivity and a suitable home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate prospective Oil & Gas exploration targets using geological, geophysical, and remote sensing data.
• Develop detailed geological models and play fairway analyses for potential basins.
• Conduct subsurface data interpretation, including seismic, well log, and core data analysis.
• Perform prospect risking and economic evaluations for exploration opportunities.
• Collaborate with geophysicists, geochemists, and other specialists on integrated studies.
• Prepare technical presentations and reports for exploration strategy reviews and decision-making.
• Stay abreast of new exploration technologies, methodologies, and industry trends.
• Contribute to portfolio management and strategic planning for exploration activities.
• Maintain and manage geological databases and interpretation software.
• Communicate findings to diverse stakeholders via virtual channels.
