Placements24 is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to lead the development and oversight of a comprehensive risk management framework in a remote-first setup across South Africa. You will identify, assess, and mitigate credit, market, operational, and compliance risks while ensuring regulatory alignment and resilience of the organization.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership experience, and knowledge of SA financial regulations.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are highly advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and oversee risk management strategies and policies.
• Identify, assess, and monitor credit, market, operational, liquidity, and strategic risks.
• Design and implement risk mitigation plans and controls.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and stress testing.
• Oversee preparation of risk reports for senior management and regulators.
• Lead and mentor risk analysts and specialists.
• Embed a strong risk culture across departments.
