Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk Manager to lead risk initiatives from Sandton. The role is fully remote, offering strategic oversight across credit, market, operational, liquidity, and compliance risks within the financial services sector.

You will develop and implement risk management frameworks, mentor a team of analysts, and report to senior leadership and the board while ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering measurable risk insights.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive risk management experience in financial services.
• Proven ability to develop and implement enterprise risk management frameworks.
• Deep understanding of credit, market, operational, liquidity, and compliance risk.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement the enterprise-wide risk management framework and policies.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize key risks across business units.
• Design and oversee risk mitigation strategies and controls.
