Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Lead Reservoir Engineer to spearhead subsurface evaluation, modeling, and development of hydrocarbon reservoirs. You will optimize production strategies, evaluate reserves, and identify exploration opportunities from a fully remote setting.

The role requires 12+ years in reservoir engineering with emphasis on unconventional reservoirs, and proficiency in Petrel RE, ECLIPSE, and CMG. Strong leadership and remote collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

Master's or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
12+ years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering, with focus on unconventional reservoirs and exploration.
Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Petrel RE, ECLIPSE, CMG).
Proven reserves estimation, economic analysis and uncertainty assessment.

Responsibilities

Lead technical evaluation and development planning for oil and gas reservoirs.
Perform reservoir simulations to forecast production and optimize recovery.
Conduct reserves estimation and reporting per SPE, PRMS standards.
Identify new exploration/development opportunities through prospect generation and risk assessment.
Mentor remote junior engineers and collaborate across geoscience and drilling teams.
