Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a fully remote role, handling cost outcomes on major construction projects nationwide. You will lead cost estimation, tendering, procurement, and contract administration with autonomy across locations.

Requires 7+ years of experience, a degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, and SACQSP/RICS preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel and cost-management software is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant degree and show strong cost-management capabilities.
• Registration with SACQSP or membership in RICS preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive quantity surveying experience on diverse projects.
• Solid knowledge of contract law and contract types is essential.
• Proficiency with cost management software and MS Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BoQs, and tender docs for national projects.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor vetting, and contract negotiations.
• Administer contracts, manage variations and final accounts.
• Monitor expenditures against budgets and report variances and risks.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for viability.
• Advise remote teams and clients on commercial and contractual matters.
