Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join a globally recognized financial institution. This fully remote, permanent role offers the chance to design and validate pricing, risk, and trading models while collaborating with traders, risk managers, and business development teams across South Africa.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in quantitative finance, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience deploying models in production.

Competenze

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a quantitative finance role.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, C++, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and risk management principles.
• Experience with data manipulation and visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying financial models in a production environment.
