You will mentor junior QA engineers, collaborate with developers and product managers, and contribute to QA process improvements while staying current with the latest testing practices in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
