Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to join a fully remote, globally distributed team. You will design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as Software QA Engineer, including senior-level responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Experience with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for web and mobile apps.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
