Placements24 is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a fast-growing SaaS company. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere within South Africa, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for web and mobile apps.

You will integrate testing into CI/CD, collaborate with Dev and Product teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to QA processes to improve quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of QA experience with a focus on test automation.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
• Programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and concepts.
• Experience with Git and SDLC/Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration.
