Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Senior Process Engineer in the pharmaceutical sector to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and ensure GMP-compliant validation from a global, home-based setup.

You will lead IQ/OQ/PQ activities, collaborate with cross-continental teams, and stay updated on FDA/EMA guidance while applying advanced modeling, simulation, and data analysis to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in process engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical validation principles.
• Experience with process modeling, simulation, and data analysis tools relevant to pharma.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a self-starter attitude.
• Familiarity with sterile processing, API synthesis, or formulation development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes for scalability and efficiency.
• Lead process validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation and execution.
• Conduct detailed process risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex process issues and implement robust solutions in a remote setting.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams across time zones.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA) and industry best practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
