Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Pharmaceutical Process Development Scientist to join its advanced development team. You will design, optimize, and scale up manufacturing processes for drug substances and products, applying PAT and QbD while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a PhD or MSc in Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences, 8+ years in process development, and strong remote collaboration skills to drive projects from bench to pilot scale.

Qualifikationen

• PhD or MSc in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical process development and scale-up.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles and manufacturing technologies relevant to pharmaceuticals.
• Expertise in process characterization, validation, and technology transfer activities.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA) for manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong analytical capabilities, and effective remote communication abilities.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for drug substance and drug product.
• Conduct process development studies, including definition of CPPs and CQAs.
• Develop and implement strategies for process validation and technology transfer to manufacturing sites.
• Utilise PAT and QbD principles in process development.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation for regulatory submissions, and presentations.
