Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with power systems focus.
- 7+ years in power system analysis, planning, or operations.
- Proficient with PSS/E, ETAP, PowerWorld, or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
- Strong analytical and communication skills for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Perform power flow, stability, and short-circuit analyses for transmission and distribution.
- Model and assess renewable energy sources, energy storage, and EV impacts on grid performance.
- Develop and validate power system models complying with grid codes and standards.
- Study grid congestion, voltage stability, frequency control, and system protection.
- Provide expert recommendations for grid upgrades and system planning.
- Collaborate with utility engineers, researchers, and stakeholders on modernization efforts.
