Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering, utility operations, or grid modernization.
• In-depth knowledge of smart grid technologies, communication protocols, and data management systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to grid modernization.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for grid modernization initiatives, focusing on smart metering, ADMS, and demand response.
• Analyze grid performance data to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for upgrading infrastructure and implementing new technologies.
• Collaborate with utility partners, technology vendors, and internal teams to design, pilot, and deploy grid modernization solutions.
• Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of new grid technologies, such as energy storage, microgrids, and grid-edge intelligence.
• Develop technical standards and best practices for grid modernization projects, ensuring interoperability and scalability.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on grid modernization projects, acting as a subject matter expert for remote teams and stakeholders.
