Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a fully remote role with a leading financial institution. You will oversee technology projects spanning core banking, trading platforms, risk management, and regulatory reporting across global teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in financial services IT, a relevant degree, PMP certification, and strong SDLC/Agile experience. You will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to deliver compliant, high-impact solutions.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience in financial services IT project management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a strong asset.
• Proven experience delivering projects related to core banking systems, trading platforms, risk management, or regulatory reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of financial industry regulations (POPIA, FAIS, FICA).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across different time zones in a remote setting.
