Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead remote software delivery initiatives for a global development team. You will own projects end-to-end, from client engagement through deployment and post-launch support, leveraging Agile practices to drive high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software PM, strong leadership of distributed teams, and a track record of delivering complex software.

Qualifications

5+ years of project management experience in software environments.
Experience leading remote or distributed teams across time zones.
CS/Engineering degree required; Master’s preferred or equivalent.
Certifications such as CSM or PMP-Agile are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end software development projects using Agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban).
Define scope, objectives, technical requirements, and deliverables with stakeholders.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies; remove roadblocks.
Foster clear communication within distributed teams and with clients.
Provide regular progress updates and comprehensive reports to stakeholders.
Ensure quality and timely software releases following standards.
Mentor junior project managers and team members.
