Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee large IT infrastructure projects in a remote-first role. You will drive planning, vendor management, and successful delivery of deployments, migrations and upgrades across cloud and on-premise environments.

The role requires strong technical background, 7+ years of PM experience in infrastructure, and a track record of leading diverse teams with excellent communication to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT project management, infrastructure deployments.
• PM certification: PMP or PRINCE2 preferred; ITIL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of IT infrastructure projects from planning to decommissioning.
• Lead cross-functional teams of IT specialists, network engineers and vendors.
• Develop detailed plans, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation for infra initiatives.
• Manage cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP), data center consolidations, and security upgrades.
• Ensure projects meet security, compliance and industry best practices; report to leadership.
