Placements24 seeks an experienced Senior Mining Operations Superintendent for a fully remote role guiding global mining operations. You will lead site teams, optimize production while ensuring safety, cost control, and regulatory compliance across open-pit and underground operations.

You will drive strategic initiatives, mentor leaders, and collaborate with engineering and planning to deliver KPI-driven performance in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in mining operations with 5+ years in a senior supervisory role.
• Experience in open-pit and underground mining operations.
• PE designation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple mining operations and align with strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement plans to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee equipment selection, utilization and maintenance.
• Foster safety culture through training and risk management.
• Mentor supervisory teams and promote high performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, planning and maintenance teams.
• Track KPIs and drive continuous improvement across operations.
