Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a fully remote finance team. You will develop sophisticated financial models, provide strategic insights, and support growth across the organization from your location.

The role requires 6+ years in management accounting or FP&A, a degree in Accounting or Finance (CIMA/CA(SA) preferred), advanced Excel, and strong presentation skills to senior leadership. Heavily remote with opportunities to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with variance explanations.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare management reports highlighting KPIs and operational efficiencies.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses into profitability, cost drivers, and market trends.
• Collaborate with department heads to drive financial discipline and performance.
• Oversee and mentor junior finance team members remotely.
