Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Senior Management Accountant for a fast-growing fintech startup with global reach. You will deliver strategic financial insights, manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and partner with senior leadership from anywhere in South Africa.

The role emphasizes financial modeling, cash flow management, governance, and process automation while supporting growth and potential M&A activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in management accounting or financial analysis.
• Experience in remote or hybrid environments.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage management accounting processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards for strategic decision-making.
• Analyze performance to identify key trends and opportunities.
• Oversee accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Refine financial models to support growth and profitability.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support strategic planning.
• Ensure data integrity and drive process improvements.
