Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant to join a dynamic, growing team. This fully remote role in South Africa offers flexibility while ensuring accuracy in financial records, robust reporting, and strict adherence to accounting standards.

You will prepare and review monthly statements, perform reconciliations, assist with budgets and forecasts, and support audits with thorough documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and general ledger entries.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions as needed.
