Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance underwriting.
• Deep knowledge of commercial property, casualty, and liability.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex insurance applications, assessing risks and determining policy terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and agents, providing expert guidance and support.
• Analyze market data, competitor activities, and industry trends to inform underwriting decisions and strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including claims and actuarial, to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines, compliance regulations, and company policies.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior underwriters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Contribute to the development of new insurance products and services.
• Prepare detailed reports on underwriting performance and portfolio analysis.
