Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join a remote-enabled team across South Africa. You will analyze production processes, design optimized layouts, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions and mentor-ship for junior staff. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in industrial engineering, experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation tools, and can operate effectively in a remote-first

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
Master's degree is a plus.
Min 7 years progressive IE experience focused on optimization.
Proven cost savings and productivity improvements.

Aufgaben

Analyze production processes and identify bottlenecks.
Develop optimization strategies using lean, Six Sigma, and simulations.
Design layouts and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Create SOPs and training materials for new processes.
Lead projects from conception through completion with budget adherence.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
