Placements24 is seeking a Senior Accountant specialized in IFRS with a strong consolidation background. This fully remote role requires handling international entities, applying IFRS knowledge, and delivering accurate financial reporting with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of IFRS-focused accounting experience, CPA/ACCA/CA(SA) qualification, and proficiency with SAP S/4HANA or Oracle, plus advanced Excel. Remote work is supported globally.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, CPA) mandatory.
• 6+ years progressive accounting experience with IFRS focus.

Mansioni

• Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements and disclosures.
• Provide IFRS guidance and interpretations to the team.
• Manage consolidation process across subsidiaries.
• Analyze financial data to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Lead IFRS-related new standard implementations and changes.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Develop and maintain IFRS-compliant accounting policies and procedures.
• Support budgets and forecasts with accounting implications.
• Mentor junior accounting staff remotely.
• Drive process improvements for accuracy and efficiency in reporting.
