Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA is essential.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in group accounting or IFRS reporting.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and consolidation software experience.
• Excellent communication for a remote, international team.
• High accuracy and ability to work independently.
• Experience with cross-border accounting is a plus.
• Reliable internet and suitable remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate group financial statements across entities per IFRS.
• Prepare and analyze group financial reports with variances commentary.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Support year-end audit process for the group.
• Develop and maintain group accounting policies.
• Assist in annual budgets and forecasts for the group.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives and acquisitions.
• Enhance and maintain the group's financial reporting systems.
• Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams for timely data submission.
