Placements24 is seeking a Senior Geneticist to join its fully remote research team. You will design and oversee genetic studies, analyze sequencing data, and interpret findings with potential disease and therapeutic impact.

Collaborate with a global network of researchers, contribute to publications, and drive quality through robust QC. A Ph.D. with 6+ years in genetics and remote-work proficiency are preferred, with ongoing professional development support.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Genetics, Genomics, Molecular Biology or related field.
• Min. 6 years in genetic research with human genetics focus.
• Expertise in NGS data analysis (WGS/WES/targeted).
• Proficiency in R, Python and statistical genetics.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee genetic studies including population and association analyses.
• Analyze large genomic datasets with statistical and computational methods.
• Interpret findings in disease context and potential therapies.
• Collaborate with remote, cross-functional teams worldwide.
• Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Develop quality control measures for genetic data analysis.
