The role focuses on sequencing technologies, data analysis, and translating insights into personalized medicine and disease research, with emphasis on leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• PhD in Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive genomics research experience with a strong publication record.
• Extensive experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies and platforms.
• Expertise in bioinformatics, statistical genetics, and computational analysis of genomic data.
• Proven ability to lead research projects and manage scientific teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead strategic research programs in genomics, utilizing sequencing and analysis platforms.
• Design and oversee protocols for whole-genome, exome, and RNA-seq studies.
• Develop and implement advanced bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and variant analysis.
• Interpret large-scale genomic data to identify disease mechanisms and therapeutic targets.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists fostering scientific excellence.
• Disseminate findings through publications and international conferences.
