Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst for a fully remote role in South Africa. You will enhance and support financial systems, ensure data integrity, and enable robust reporting across ERP platforms.

A strong focus on automation, migrations, and cross-team collaboration will be essential for success. The role requires 5+ years in financial systems analysis, deep ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/Dynamics), and fluency with SQL and BI tools.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in financial systems analysis, implementation, or support.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, and implement enhancements for financial systems (ERP, GL, budgeting software).
Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into system solutions.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for financial systems.
Develop and maintain system documentation (process flows, user guides, technical specs).
Lead and participate in system testing including UAT to ensure successful implementations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within financial systems.
Generate reports and dashboards to support business analysis and decision-making.
Stay current with best practices and recommend upgrades or new solutions.
Assist in data migration activities and ensure data integrity.
Train end-users on system functionalities and best practices.
