Placements24 is seeking an Executive Event Planner to lead high-profile catering events from concept to execution. The role is fully remote, demanding meticulous organization, strong client communication, and a deep understanding of catering operations across diverse locations.

You will manage vendor relationships, budgets, timelines, and on-site logistics while collaborating with a remote team to deliver memorable culinary experiences for corporate functions and events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Event Planner or Catering Manager with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in catering operations, including menu planning, food safety, and service standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of catering events.
• Collaborate with clients to translate vision, preferences and budget into proposals.
• Source and manage vendor relationships to secure quality within budget.
• Develop event timelines, floor plans and staffing schedules.
• Coordinate menu selections, tastings and presentation styles.
• Manage budgets and track expenses to ensure profitability.
• Oversee logistics of setup, breakdown and on-site management.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, internal teams and partners.
