Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to design and manage power systems for telecom infrastructure on a fully remote basis. You will lead the architecture of electrical systems for data centers, base stations, and network operations centers, ensuring reliability and efficiency from a distributed home office.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 9+ years of telecom power experience, and strong leadership and remote collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in electrical engineering with telecom infra focus.
• Design and management of complex power systems including UPS, generators, and DC solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of telecom network power requirements and standards.
• Leadership and ability to work in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of electrical systems for telecom facilities.
• Develop specifications for power generation, distribution, UPS and backup systems.
• Perform load calculations, capacity planning, and energy efficiency analyses.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Oversee procurement of electrical equipment and components.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
