Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in drilling engineering, offshore or complex onshore.
• Experience in well planning, execution and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of drilling fluids, cementing, well control, and directional drilling.

Responsibilities

• Develop drilling programs and well designs considering geology, safety, and environment.
• Provide technical support during drilling operations and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage drilling contracts and supervise third-party service providers.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for drilling operations.
• Monitor drilling performance, analyze data, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage drilling budgets.
• Participate in post-well reviews and lessons learned sessions.
• Mentor junior drilling engineers and share knowledge within the team.
