Placements24 is seeking a Lead Drilling Engineer for a globally recognized energy leader. This fully remote role allows you to contribute your expertise from anywhere, leading technical aspects of drilling operations worldwide, ensuring safety, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive best practices, manage complex projects, and stay ahead on hydraulic, well control, casing design and directional drilling.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive drilling engineering and operations experience.
• Proven ability to lead drilling projects and teams.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling hydraulics, well control, casing design, and directional drilling.
• Must work autonomously and effectively manage time in a remote setting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute advanced drilling plans and programs for diverse international projects.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to drilling engineering teams globally.
• Oversee the design and implementation of well construction operations, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
• Manage drilling performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation efforts for drilling operations.
• Collaborate with subsurface, completions, and production teams to ensure integrated well delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior drilling engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Stay current with emerging drilling technologies and best practices.
