• 8+ years of progressive experience in architectural design and BIM coordination.
• Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience developing and implementing BIM execution plans and standards.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams in a remote work environment.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, construction documentation, and SA codes.

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized leader in innovative architectural solutions, is actively seeking a highly proficient and experienced Senior BIM Architect to join their fully remote team. This pivotal role is based remotely, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa, with a primary focus on supporting projects originating from Cape Town, Western Cape . The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies across a wide range of complex architectural projects. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of BIM execution plans for various architectural projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Create, manage, and coordinate complex BIM models, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and clash detection across disciplines.
• Develop and implement BIM standards, templates, and workflows to enhance project efficiency and collaboration for remote teams.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture or a related field, with a strong specialization in Building Information Modeling.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural design and BIM coordination, with a significant portion spent in a senior or lead role.
• Exceptional proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans and standards.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a remote work environment, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
• Deep understanding of architectural design principles, construction documentation, and building codes relevant to South African projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
