Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a leading beauty brand in Cape Town and beyond with a Senior Beauty Content Creator & Strategist role. This fully remote position invites a creative visionary to shape narratives, craft engaging digital content across social, blogs, email, and video scripts, and drive brand awareness.

You will manage content calendars, analyze performance, mentor freelancers, and ensure on-brand storytelling across platforms, while staying ahead of beauty trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in content creation, content strategy, or digital marketing, with a focus on the beauty or wellness industry.
• Demonstrable portfolio showcasing successful content creation and strategy implementation.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of grammar and style.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for social media, blogs, email marketing, and other digital channels.
• Create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing beauty content, including written articles, social media posts, video scripts, and graphics.
• Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of content across all platforms.
• Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to optimize future content strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and design teams to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and campaign goals.
• Stay abreast of the latest beauty trends, industry news, and competitor activities to inform content creation.
• Engage with the online community, respond to comments, and foster positive interactions.
• Conduct market research to identify new content opportunities and audience interests.
• Manage freelance writers and designers as needed to scale content production.
• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone of voice.
