The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in digital content, strong CMS expertise (WordPress/Drupal), and proficiency in social media analytics.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Arts, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in digital content creation, curation, or management, preferably in arts/entertainment.
• Proficiency with CMS (WordPress/Drupal or similar).
• Strong skills with social media management tools and analytics platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong storytelling ability.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into content strategies.
• Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Passion for and knowledge of South African arts and entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy aligned with brand objectives and audience interests.
• Curate, edit, and publish engaging content across websites, social media, blogs, and newsletters.
• Analyze content performance metrics and audience engagement data to optimize strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and editorial teams to ensure cohesive brand voice.
• Manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital content creation and curation.
• Identify and engage with key influencers and potential content partners in the arts and entertainment sector.
