Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly creative and motivated remote E-commerce Content Creator & Social Media Manager. This full-remote position is designed for a storyteller who can craft content across platforms to drive online sales, engage audiences, and elevate the brand in the South Africa market including the Free State.

You will own content plans, collaborate with designers, monitor trends, and optimize performance while maintaining a strong remote-work discipline and delivering results

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or similar role with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
• Knowledge of social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest) and best engagement practices.
• Experience with scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer).
• Basic SEO understanding and how content affects rankings.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for social media, blog, emails, and website.
• Create engaging content across platforms (written, visual, video).
• Manage social media calendar, posts, and community engagement.
• Monitor trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
