Placements24 is sourcing a Senior Automotive Systems Integration Engineer for a fully remote role within South Africa. You will lead definition and implementation of system integration strategies across powertrain, chassis, electrical, and software domains, coordinating cross-functional teams in a distributed environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in automotive systems engineering, strong MBSE experience, and familiarity with CAN/LIN and Automotive Ethernet.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in automotive systems engineering.
• Experience managing complex vehicle system integration projects.
• Proficiency with MBSE and automotive protocols.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement vehicle system integration strategies.
• Manage interfaces between subsystems (powertrain, chassis, body, electrical, software).
• Develop and maintain system integration plans aligned with milestones.
• Facilitate virtual collaboration among dispersed engineering teams.
• Identify and resolve system-level conflicts and integration issues.
