Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Automotive Systems Integration Engineer to join a global automotive team. You will ensure powertrain, chassis, electrical, and software subsystems integrate smoothly to meet performance and safety targets.

The role requires 5+ years in automotive systems engineering, strong protocol knowledge (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet) and experience with integration testing, documentation, and remote collaboration with global engineers.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in automotive systems engineering with strong integration focus.
• Experience integrating complex automotive systems (powertrain, ADAS, infotainment, body electronics).

Responsibilities

• Define and manage system integration requirements and interfaces for automotive applications.
• Develop and execute system integration test plans ensuring subsystems work together.
• Analyze system performance data to identify issues and propose fixes.
• Collaborate with subsystem engineers to resolve integration challenges.
• Create and maintain system integration documentation including architecture diagrams and ICDs.
• Participate in design reviews to assess integration feasibility of new features.
• Troubleshoot complex system-level issues during development and testing.
• Stay informed on automotive standards and best practices for system integration.
• Support vehicle validation activities from an integration perspective.
• Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders remotely.
