Placements24 is seeking a highly innovative and experienced Senior Automotive Design Engineer to join their world-class engineering team. Working remotely, you will conceptualize, design, and develop next-generation automotive components and systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and stay at the forefront of materials and technologies driving vehicle design and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive design engineering.
• Proficiency in advanced CAD software and CAE tools.
• Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and vehicle dynamics.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of automotive components and systems from concept to production.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).
• Perform engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration simulations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and testing teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and materials to drive innovation in vehicle design.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design projects.
