Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a creative and technically proficient Remote Automotive Design Engineer to join their innovative product development team. This fully remote role lets you contribute to the conceptualization and design of future automotive components from anywhere, leveraging your CAD expertise to develop detailed designs, prototypes, and specifications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive, or industrial design.
- 5+ years of automotive design experience with a portfolio.
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX.
- Experience with product development lifecycles and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced 3D CAD software to create detailed designs for automotive components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs based on feasibility and aesthetics.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and analyses to meet performance, safety, and manufacturing requirements.
- Generate design concepts and present design decisions to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of trends in automotive design and manufacturing technologies.
