Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with automotive experience for a fully remote position. You will design and develop mechanical components and systems, create detailed 3D CAD models, and perform FEA/CFD analyses to validate performance.

You will collaborate with a distributed team of engineers and designers, participate in design reviews, and support prototyping and testing from a home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of mechanical design experience in the automotive sector.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA or SolidWorks, and FEA/CFD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive applications.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
