Placements24 is seeking a Senior AI Ethics and Compliance Officer to lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive ethical frameworks for all AI initiatives. This fully remote role focuses on fairness, transparency, accountability, and privacy across global AI projects.

You will collaborate with legal, product, and engineering teams to embed ethical considerations into the AI lifecycle and stay ahead of evolving regulations and best practices in AI ethics and governance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in AI ethics or regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs and ethical frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce AI ethics policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct thorough ethical risk assessments and impact analyses for AI projects.
• Monitor AI systems for bias, fairness issues, and potential ethical concerns.
• Ensure compliance with relevant national and international AI regulations and guidelines.
• Provide expert guidance and training to internal teams on responsible AI development and deployment.
• Collaborate with legal, product, and engineering teams to integrate ethical considerations into the AI lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, research, and best practices in AI ethics and governance.
