Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an AI Ethics Specialist to guide responsible AI development and deployment in a fully remote role. You will help establish ethical guidelines and frameworks, working with researchers, developers, legal teams, and policymakers to mitigate risks and promote fairness and accountability.

The ideal candidate has advanced education in ethics or related fields and strong experience in ethical risk assessment, policy analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (see requirements).
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and societal implications.
• Experience developing ethical frameworks or policy analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI ethics policies, guidelines, and best practices across the organization.
• Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects, identifying biases, fairness issues, and privacy concerns.
• Advise AI development teams on ethical considerations throughout the lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of evolving AI ethics regulations, standards, and discussions globally.
• Promote ethical AI principles through training, workshops, and internal communication.
