A strong technical background and proactive collaboration are essential. Responsibilities include developing models, validating data, and communicating complex results to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Progress towards or completion of actuarial examinations (e.g., SOA, IFoA, ASSA).
• Minimum of 5 years actuarial experience in the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in actuarial modeling software (Prophet, AXIS) and programming languages (Python, R, SQL).
• Strong understanding of insurance regulations and accounting principles relevant to actuarial functions.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working effectively in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
• Analyze datasets to assess risk and inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with product teams to design or refine insurance products.
• Perform data validation and QA on models and datasets.
• Prepare reports for management, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to best practices.
