Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will research, source and book meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

This remote, full-time role requires experience in B2B sales, strong written communication, and familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred.
• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
