Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will research, source, and book meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will own the top of the funnel, using tools like LinkedIn, Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Apollo to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality outreach. Remote role within South Africa with full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
