Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel activity across South Africa. You will research accounts, build target lists, and craft personalized outbound sequences to book discovery calls with qualified decision makers.

You will use tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn to maintain an accurate pipeline, test messaging, and collaborate with Account Executives to drive pipeline growth in a remote South African setup.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
