Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a Sales Development Representative in South Africa to open doors, build pipeline and book meetings with decision makers. You will own the top of the funnel, researching accounts, crafting outreach, and making the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will use LinkedIn, email, and phone to reach targets, maintain accurate records in Salesforce and SalesLoft, and collaborate with Account Executives to convert interest into discovery calls.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
