Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive our pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel—research accounts, identify decision makers, and book meetings with qualified prospects, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

Bring 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, strong written communication, and experience with outbound tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
