Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SDR to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching ideal accounts and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will craft personalized outreach using email, LinkedIn and phone, and maintain Salesforce/SalesLoft records.

We value grit, curiosity and coachability, with 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; familiarity with Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo is preferred for this remote SA position.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role or agency/SaaS experience.
• Strong written communication with ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo) and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
