Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is looking for a Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You’ll own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

You’ll use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to maintain a strong, high‑quality outreach program. This full-time remote role requires 2 years in SDR/BDR, strong written communication, and a coachable mindset.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
